Summer 2
We have a busy half term coming up! Here are some highlights of our curriculum:
- English: We are reading the poem Chocolate Cake by Michael Rosen. Using this, we will be writing a descriptive piece all about a cake of our own and what makes it irresistible. We will also be looking at the book Snail and the Whale, in which we will be writing a letter in character.
- Maths: We are continuing with our learning about coins and how to work out a group of coin's value. We will also start to learn about time and how to read o'clock and half past on a clock.
- Science: Our Science this term is all about plants. We will be looking at different types of trees, flowers and finding the difference between wild plants and home grown plants.
- History: In our History lessons, we are learning about the moon landing and Neil Armstrong. We will be learning about why this was significant for the world.
- Spanish: Anita y Osito (Anita and Teddy Bear).
